Cars in India 2022


We are going to see a lot of cars in the Indian car market in 2022 (Touchwood). so today we are going to list a few cars that can attract a lot of buyers in 2022.

Mahindra Scorpio 2022

  1. Mahindra & Mahindra has been testing their new version of Scorpio for a very long time and finally, we can expect to see Mahindra Scorpio 2022 launching this year. it can feature a 2.0L mStallion turbo petrol under its hood and 2.2L turbo-diesel as well.
  2. The engines are expected to produce 130 brake horsepower for lower-end variants and 160 or 155 brake horsepower for higher-end variants.
  3. The new variant can be named "Mahindra ScorpioN" or "Mahindra Scorpio Sting". the new variant can feature both 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission as well. 
  4. The major design changes are expected to be visible on the front end of the car and the gen 3 platform is expected to give more cabin space inside the Scorpio 2022.


TATA Tiago/Tigor CNG

  1. It is expected that in 2022 TATA Tiago and Tigor will come with factory fitted CNG kits and will be powered by a 1.2-litre engine that is capable of producing 70-75 brake horsepower along with 100Nm of torque.
  2. only manual transmission options will be available for the CNG version of Tiago and Tigor, and there will be no major design changes that can be expected. but CNG badging is expected to be there around the cars.
  3. Then CNG version of Tiago and Tigor can cost an additional amount of Rs. 50,000 and expected to compete against other CNG cars like Alto CNG.


2022 Toyota Camry

  1. The 2022 Toyota Camry is likely to be launched in India with a 2.5-litre hybrid petrol motor under its hood along with a 160kW battery pack. The Toyota Camry is likely to be launched in the premium segment with its facelift specifications.
  2. Talking about the premiumness, the spotlight of the cabin will be a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment unit compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto placed on the dashboard.
  3. Camry is also expected to include some of the most advanced features like Intersection turn assist, Pre-Collison system, and emergency steering assist along with adaptive cruise control which adjusts the speed according to the road sign and lane trace assist system.


Toyota Hilux

  1. The Toyota Hilux is set to launch in the Indian market to rival the Isuzu V-cross. Hilux is built on the same platform as Toyota Innova and Toyota Fortuner. 
  2. Under the hood, it will be powered by the 2.8-litre diesel engine taken from the Fortuner which is expected to produce 204 horsepower and 500Nm torque for the Hilux. The transmission options available with the Hilux are the 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic torque converter.
  3. The dimensions of the Hilux will be 5,285 mm in length, the width will be 1,855 mm, the height will be 1,815 mm, and the wheelbase will be 3,085 mm.  

Conclusion

If budget is not a problem for you then a lot of exciting cars will be at your service in 2022 with so many world-class features that will bring thrill and ease both in your driving life. however, if you want a practical car then a CNG and especially electric cars are suggested for you as they will be proved more meaningful in the upcoming years.
