XUV 700 is making a lot of buzz in the market as it is presented as a feature-loaded SUV launched at very aggressive prices.

- Electric Blue.
- Midnight Black.

XUV 700 Variants:-
Mahindra XUV 700 offers different variants like MX being the base variant, then comes the AX3, after that comes AX5, and on top of these all comes the luxury packed AX7 variant.
XUV 700 ADAS Feature:-
- ADAS is an Advanced Driver Assistance System that has been introduced for the first time with this price segment in the Indian car market.
- ADAS is a radar-based technology that helps the driver while driving through its features like emergency braking, cruise control, drowsiness system, traffic sign recognition, high beam assist, lane departure system, and a few other high-tech features.
- With the help of all those features mentioned above the risk of getting into an accident is reduced considerably.
Mahindra XUV 700 Design:-
The car looks very bold but not as aggressive as the XUV 500, if we compare the new XUV 700 with the XUV 500 there are some changes that have been made like:-
- XUV 700 is actually longer than XUV 500 by 110 mm.
- The wheelbase is also longer than the XUV 500 by 50 mm.
- On the other hand, the height of the car is shorter than the XUV 500 by 30 mm.
- XUV 700 has a 6-slats chrome-plated grille that joins the "C" shaped LED DRLs at the corners.
- The new Mahindra logo at the center of the grille adds to the beauty of the car and lets us know where that car has come from.
Apart from the grille, the "C" shaped LED DRLs distinguishes XUV 700 from the other cars, and you will find how beautifully the hood has been carved when you move your hand above it.
The side profile of the car maintains the boldness as well, the XUV 700 comes with 17-inch steel or diamond-cut alloy wheels and 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels in the top variants.
Flush door handles pop out when you press them to give the car a premium and futuristic look and if you don't like pressing them, then don't worry as they are motorized in the top variants of the car.
The thing which will feel familiar to you is the arch above the rear wheel of the XUV 700 which throws an image of the XUV 500.
On the rear, we get to see a very sharp and sophisticated look given by the spoiler and the sharp arrow-shaped taillights.
Although the edge line on the back door is a bit controversial and we didn't like it at first, but by the time it just filled into the design of the car for our eyes.
Mahindra XUV 700 Interior:-
Another thing on the dashboard that shows premiumness is the leather which is very soft and smooth to touch and the silver highlights make it look more premium.
The cabin also has a wireless charger and space for an extra phone right next to it, Switches around the cabin come with the piano black finish which gives them their premiumness.
There is some plastic used around the cabin but that does not give you a less premium feel, it just blends in with the rest of the elements inside the cabin.
Some features are missing in the cabin like shift pedals, ventilated seats, and the front passenger seat doesn't get the 6 direction moveability as the driver seat gets.
The Sunroof or we should call it the Skyroof is the largest in the segment and it makes us experience more luxury sitting on the middle row.
The middle row of the XUV 700 can easily accommodate 3 people and it offers a sufficient amount of legroom and knee room as the car is longer than the previous XUV 500.
The taller people may not find the middle row as comfortable because of the lack of headroom and under-thigh support.
We don't get blower controls in the middle row which is available in the SUVs like Tata Safari and MG Hector Plus and it can make us feel their middle row is more luxurious than the XUV 700.
Mahindra XUV 700 Performance:-
XUV 700 gives us two engine options which are:-
- 2.2 liter mStallion turbocharged (Petrol).
- 2.2 liter mHawk turbocharged (Diesel).
The petrol engine is the most powerful in the segment that XUV 700 has, it churns out 200 horsepower with 380 NMm of torque.
The diesel engine, on the other hand, comes with 3 different types of tune and produces different output like:-
- 155 horsepower with 360 Nm of torque.
- 185 horsepower with 420 Nm of torque.
- 185 horsepower with 450 Nm of torque.
Diesel and Petrol engines both are available with Manual and Automatic transmission options so you can choose whichever driving style suits you.
XUV 700 also offers us driving modes like Zip, Zap, Zoom which is similar to Eco, City, and Sports mode.
When changing the driving modes we get to notice a change in throttle response and steering of the car according to the mode we have chosen.

Mahindra XUV 700 Review:-
The XUV 700 is a feature-loaded SUV launched at affordable prices, particularly the safety features of the car work well and ensure maximum safety for our family members.
The car is comfortable and quiet, the color combination and other things in the cabin give us a good luxurious feeling.
We can easily accommodate 3 people in the middle row and the last row will be ideal for kids because of the lack of legroom and under-thigh support.
The engines both petrol and diesel works well for the car and give us a smooth but powerful driving experience, we liked the automatic transmission with the petrol engine but you can also opt for manual transmission and you will not regret it.
The Zip, Zap, and Zoom driving modes work well as per our needs while driving, in the Zip mode the car feels calm and the steering feels light-weighted, in the Zap mode steering gains some weight, and the throttle becomes responsive, when you finally decide to put the car in Zap mode, the car responses very well with the throttle and the stiffness of the steering is also adjusted accordingly.
The body roll on the corners is quite impressive for such a big car which ensures maximum comfort for us during the high speed on the highways.
The infotainment screen is very responsive and the speaker system installed in the car will give you no complaints.
The car lacks some features like pedal shifters, ventilated seats, a blower controller for the second row, and some other usual features.
In the top variants you will get some segment-first and very fancy features but looking at the price tag you may also feel the top variants are a bit overpriced.
Mahindra XUV 700 Conclusion:-
The XUV 700 is a product that can rule the market for several years with its so many first-in-segment features. The car is well-engineered, looks beautiful, and then its engines can go fast enough to put a smile on our face whenever we hit the accelerator.
The car surely misses some basic features that other SUVs offer, but as the XUV 700 is launched at very affordable prices we are sure that we will not be missing those features often.
In short, the XUV 700 is a good SUV to buy, as it scored very well in the categories like luxury, performance, and features.
