The new Tata safari has some interesting features, lets see how the car is in the looks, interior, performance, and other aspects: -

The new tata safari is very much similar to Tata Harrier in the front, apart from the new tri-arrow grill and a silver skid plate.

Performance: -
The all-new Tata Safari uses the 2.0-liter kryotec turbo diesel BS6 engine which produces 1956 cc or 170 horsepower and 350 Nm Torque at 1750 to 2500 rpm.
For the transmission, Tata offers a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic torque converter gearbox.
The Safari comes with 3 driving modes which are Eco, City, and Sport. The Eco and City modes are focused on fuel economy and comfort, while the Sport mode makes the car more aggressive and powerful to drive.
If we talk about the mileage of the new safari it lies between 14.08 kmpl to 16.14 kmpl.
Review: -
- If we talk about the looks, many people were disappointed as the new Safari looks less like a Safari and more like an extended version of the Tata Harrier and that is because the new Safari is based on IMPACT 2.0 design and OMEGARC platform and not on the X2 platform on which the Tata Safari Storme was based.
- Although the new Safari doesn't look like the safari, but the car is very well designed and beautiful also.
- The new Tata Safari's cabin is very spacious and comfortable, but in the cabin, controls are all over the place which should be together in one place so that the driver can conveniently operate the car even while driving.
- The touchscreen of the infotainment system is not much touch responsive which spoils the fun, apart from that when we put the mobile phone on the storage space available in the center console it makes us twist our hand a bit to take the phone out.
- The seats of the new Safari are very comfortable they are spacious and they feel premium too. in the second row, it took a while to find the charging port as they are below the seats, but for long journeys the car gets full marks for comfort.
- In most of the SUVs, the 3rd rows are useless, but in the Safari the 3rd row is very useful and comfortable, 2 Adults can also comfortably sit in there. Apart from that, there is a storage net, USB ports, AC vents, and fan speed controllers are also available for the 3rd row.
- The boot space in the new Tata Safari is just 73 liters on which we will recommend you to travel with a soft bag and not with a suitcase. However, if you fold the 3rd row the space increase to 447 liters, and if you fold the 2nd and 3rd row both together then the space increases to 910 liters.
- While driving the car, the 2.0-liter kryotec turbo diesel engine works very well and gives you a refined and smooth driving experience. the power delivery is good and at no point, you will feel the car underpowered or sluggish.
- In the manual transmission, you have to deal with a heavy clutch that feels sluggish and the gears also take few seconds to shift even when the car is pushed hard.
- The new Safari comes equipped with the Terrain Response System which offers 3 modes which are Normal, Wet, and Rough. It makes the Car perform well for the offroad as well, and makes the car run on broken roads and offroading terrains very well.
- If we talk about the handling, the handling in the Safari 2021 is very good, the car is very well balanced and the steering wheel is responsive enough to let the car maneuver on the city roads.
- Although on the highways at the high speed the steering feels a little too responsive but the car runs very well planted around the corners at high speed. one more thing is around the corner we get to feel a bit of body roll but considering the dimensions of the SUV, it is accepted.
- If we talk about the braking and suspensions, the new safari gets full marks, the suspensions work very well on broken road and offroading terrain which gives a comfortable experience to the passengers.
- The new Safari gets All-wheel brakes which stops the car very quickly which makes you believe more in your car.
- Safari has very good features especially for safety but lacks some features like wireless charging, automatic tailgate, and the quality of the rear camera has a good scope of improvement.
Conclusion: -
The new Safari is a worthy car and does all the job which you can expect it to do, in every aspect the new Safari worth your money and will be best suited with the automatic transmission.
