Suzuki has introduced the new Suzuki Burgman Street 125 in the Indian market. In the international market, Suzuki Burgman 400 and Suzuki Burgman 650 are popular names, but for the Indian market, Suzuki decided to stick with the 125 segments.
Suzuki already had a scooter in the 125 segments which is the Suzuki Access 125 which has been a big success for Suzuki, and now the company is looking to introduce its premium Burgman Street 125 maxi-scooter in the same segment.

In Suzuki's new maxi scooter Burgman street 125 to enhance the customer experience and give some premium features to worth the price of the scooter, Suzuki introduced a couple of new features, one of them is Integrated Engine Start and Kill Switch With Suzuki Easy Start System.
Multi-Function Full Digital Meter: -
Unlike the previous scooter of Suzuki, in the Burgman 125 Suzuki has introduced a Multi-Function Full Digital Meter which displays features like trip meter, clock, engine temperature, and other basic features like speedometer and odometer in digital form.
Bluetooth-enabled digital instrument cluster: -
The instrument cluster gets connected with your smartphone through the Suzuki Ride Connect application and displays information like Turn by Turn Navigation, Missed Call Alert, and Caller ID, Call, SMS & WhatsApp Alert, Over-Speed Warning, ETA Updates, Phone Battery Level Display on the digital instrument cluster.
Variants of Burgman Street 125: -
There are two variants available for Burgman street 125, the first one is "Burgman Street BS6" and another one is "Burgman Street Bluetooth".
The Burgman Street BS6 comes with a price tag of Rs. 82,700 (ex-showroom, Delhi), and the Burgman Street Bluetooth comes with a price tag of Rs. 86,200 (ex-showroom, Delhi). And the Suzuki Burgman street on-road price can be around Rs. 1.01 lakh.
The major difference between the 2 variants is that the Burgman Street Bluetooth comes with a Bluetooth Enabled Digital console with features like Turn by Turn Navigation, Missed Call alert and Caller ID, Call, SMS & WhatsApp Alert, Over-Speed Warning, ETA Updates, and Phone Battery Level Display.
Design: -
The Burgman Street 125 has a wide-body and sporty design which makes it different from the rest of the scooters running on the road. It also makes a few heads turn around and see what scooter just passed by.
The Burgman Street 125 offers flexible foot position for riders which makes you feel a cruiser-like riding experience. the scooter also comes with a DC socket in the 2-liter glove compartment, which makes it easy for you to charge your phone while traveling.
Apart from that you also get a rack for storage and the under-seat storage provided in the Burgman Street 125 is 21.5 liter.
Performance: -
- The Burgman Street 125 comes with the same 4-Stroke, 1 Cylinder, Air Cooled engine as used in access 125 but it is fuel injected now.
- The engine is now capable of producing 8.7 ps @6750 rpm and weighs around 110 kg.
- The wheelbase of the Suzuki Burgman Street 125 is 1,265 mm, ground clearance is 160 mm, and if you are concerned about the height of the vehicle's seat we would like to tell you it is 780 mm.
- The Suzuki Burgman Street 125 comes with an LED headlight and for the taillights also LEDs are used, which makes us talk about its battery, the battery used in the Suzuki Burgman Street 125 is a Maintenance Free 12V, 4Ah battery.
- The Suzuki Burgman Street 125 comes with a fuel tank capacity of 5.5 liters and it can give mileage between 48 km/l to 53.50 km/l and on the basis of reviews of some customers on the internet, they said after the first service the Suzuki Burgman gives a mileage between 59 km/l to 61 km/l.

Review: -
- The Suzuki Burgman is a well-designed and comfortable scooter, it has a wide body but it is also agile so you won't face problems cruising through traffic in the city.
- The engine is well refined and gives a very beautiful ride quality, the pickup of the scooter is very well balanced which means the scooter will gain speed uniformly.
- The lights on the scooter are very good, the headlight has a very good throw on the road, and looks stylish as well.
- You may feel the rear wheel should be a bit larger as the front wheel is larger than the rear, but it is given on purpose to give you a cruiser-like riding experience.
- The seat of the scooter is wide and comfortable and attention to details has been given on the scooter, the space for storage is also very practical with 2 utility hooks, 1glove box with USB, and 21.5-liter under-seat storage.
- Even with a heavy pillion (passenger) on the back, the suspensions of the scooter and the pickup are very good and which gives you a very smooth yet powerful riding experience.
- The Scooter has very good Bluetooth connectivity and displays all the important information on the digital instrument cluster, the only thing which we didn't like is the quality of plastic or fiber used on the scooter which should be improved.

In our research, we have found that the Suzuki Burgman Street 125 is a premium range scooter with premium features. it is a good choice among the maxi-scooter segment and if you buy it you won't regret your decision.
